The Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union Filipino Community Relations Team (Filcom Team) was out in full force at the Filipino Fiesta held at the Filcom Center in Waipahu on Saturday May 4th. Members of our Filcom Team worked through the day alongside volunteers from our Consumer and Home Loan departments to perform outreach and raise awareness around products and services that can add value to and benefit members of the Filipino community.

In addition to offering financial services in Tagalog, Bisaya, and Ilocano we offer members:

• Insurance on Deposits up to $750,000
• Western Union Services (low fee)
• Coin Counting Machine (no cost), and
• Video Banking for convenience

Of course, it was a fiesta, and the focus was on having fun. Visitors to our booth were engaged in games traditionally played in the Philippines. They also were invited to enter our drawing for a $100 VISA gift card by completing our Virtual Scavenger Hunt, designed to educate attendees on our products and services.
