Controller

Primary Responsibilities:
The Controller is responsible for and performs all duties necessary for the operation of the Accounting Department. The Controller is also responsible to manage the appropriate risk levels (interest rate risk, operating risk, credit risk, etc.) for the credit union.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  1. Accounting degree required. CPA preferred.
  2. Requires 10 years accounting experience. Previous experience in financial institutions preferred.
  3. Previous management experience required.
  4. Must be organized, analytical with an attention to detail and able to meet deadlines with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/tasks.
  5. Must be able to communicate (both in oral and written form) effectively and professionally to internal and external customers.

New Accounts Specialist I/II

Primary Responsibilities:
The New Account Specialist is responsible to effectively profile new and existing members and make appropriate suggestions for products and services (both loans and deposits) to help them meet/exceed their financial objectives.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  1. Two years teller experience (or equivalent) in a financial institution.
  2. In addition to two years teller experience (or equivalent) in a financial institution, two years’ experience in opening/servicing new accounts in a financial institution (New Account Specialist II)
  3. Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate (both in written and oral form) to both internal customers and external members.
  4. Must have knowledge in Excel and Word.
  5. Demonstrated sales and leadership skills (Member Services Specialist II).
  6. High school degree or equivalent..

Teller

Primary Responsibilities:

Professionally and accurately process member transactions. Also responsible to open new accounts and make appropriate suggestions for credit union products and services.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  1. One year cash handling & customer service experience preferred.
  2. Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate to both internal customers and external members.
  3. Must have a basic PC knowledge.
  4. New Accounts experience preferred.
