Emergency Assistance Programs*

Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union understands that the recent Kona Low storms impacted our community, and we want to assure you that we are here for you!  We have activated three special assistance programs to help those affected by the storms.

Emergency Loan:

• Borrow up to $3,500
• Terms up to 3 years
• No payment required for the first three months

Payment Deferments for current Hawaii Central Loans:

• Defer loan payments for 3 months
• Available for select Hawaii Central Loans

Waived fees for early withdrawal of Share Certificates:

We’ll waive any early withdrawal fees for your Hawaii Central Share Certificate.  Contact our member services for more information.

*Member must meet certain requirements to qualify for emergency assistance programs.  Emergency Loan Program is a personal loan with a minimum loan amount of $500 and maximum of $3,500. Rates and terms are based on applicant’s creditworthiness per Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union (HCFCU) policy and is subject to approval. Payments may be deferred up to three months. HCFCU members with current consumer or real estate HCFCU loans may qualify to defer payments up to three months. All deferments are subject to review. Interest will accrue during any payment deferment period and will be spread over the remaining term of the loan. HCFCU membership eligibility is required.
