Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union’s commitment to helping people goes beyond our Credit Union by supporting various charitable causes in our community. The staff and management continue to make generous contributions to our community through volunteer hours, fundraising projects and personal donations to local organizations.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
On August 17, 2014, Hawaii Central FCU (HCFCU) staff spent their Sunday morning volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii. HCFCU staff assisted with the interior cleaning and yard work of the Judd Hillside House. Once cleaning duties were completed, HCFCU staff members helped to prepare a delicious lunch for the families staying at the charity’s Judd Hillside House and Oahu Avenue House. The prepared lunch was donated by HCFCU and consisted of chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni salad, chips and dessert.
HCFCU staff also donated over $300 worth of Ronald McDonald House wish list items including cases of spam, cup noodles, easy mac, paper towels and more. HCFCU is proud to support great organizations, like the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii, that give so much to families and our community.
Hospice Hawaii’s Hot Pursuit event
